Drinking Water Research Information Network’s (DRINK) partners are water research organizations in the U. S. and internationally, federal agencies focusing on public health and the environment, State and local agencies focusing on drinking water, and academic institutions conducting research on water issues.

Benefits of Partnership

DRINK highlights partner organization projects and provides partners with an easy, quick, and efficient means of posting project updates and results to the web. It can be used as a tool for planning and coordinating research; researchers can identify research gaps and assess future project priorities. It also allows partners to identify opportunities for collaboration to leverage research. Partners maintain control of their project information on the DRINK web site without the hosting or site maintenance costs.

Current Partners

The following organizations have partnered with US EPA to share information on drinking water research projects through DRINK. If you would like to become a DRINK partner and join this voluntary effort, please contact Valerie Blank, of USEPA, at blank.valerie@epa.gov.

Research Collaboration

While DRINK brings together information on the research projects planned or performed by various organizations, the Global Water Research Coalition (GWRC) helps organizations coordinate resources to conduct research projects. The GWRC leverages funding and expertise among participating research organizations, coordinates research strategies, secures additional funding not available to single country research foundations, and actively manages a centralized approach to global issues. DRINK users interested in learning more about GWRC can visit the organization's web site, at http://www.globalwaterresearchcoalition.net/index.html. Exit EPA Disclaimer
