CCR Rule Module

The final Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) rule was published in the Federal Register in November 1998. The rule requires water suppliers to provide annual reports on the quality of their drinking water to their customers. This material provides key information to states and Regions to guide their implementation of the CCR rule. EPA has developed additional implementation aids to assist States, EPA Regions, and community water systems (CWSs) to comply with this rule.

Slide Presentation

Quick Reference Sheets
Quick Reference Sheets (62 KB PDF File, 4pgs) can be used to assist both States and CWSs in ensuring that all the proper information is included in the CCR.  They list the requirements of the rule and briefly explain what should be included in the CCR.

Workshop 2
Workshop 2 provides the opportunity to take water system data (provided in the workshop) and create a CCR. This workshop has three files associated with it: instructions (4 KB PDF File, 2pgs); the workshop questions (68 KB PDF File, 8pgs); workshop answers (38 KB PDF File, 5pgs).

Workshop 3
Workshop 3 is a more complicated version of Workshop 2. This workshop provides the opportunity to take water system data (provided in the workshop), which is more complex than the data in Workshop 2, and create a CCR. This workshop has three files associated with it:  instructions (4 KB PDF File, 2pgs); the workshop questions (55 KB PDF File, 6pgs); workshop answers (43 KB PDF File, 5pgs).
