Personal Biography of Ted Bailey, Ph.D.
Dr. Ted Bailey is Professor of Statistics at Iowa State University where he teaches statistical methods and design and analysis of experiments. Dr. Bailey earned his Ph D (Statistics and Genetics) at the University of Minnesota in 1973. Ted served as a member of a team formed by the American Statistical Association Coordinating Committee in consultation with EPA to review specified statistical issues in EPA sponsored research on the effects of acid rain on crops. He was a member of a team that presented a one and one-half day workshop entitled “Mixed Models for Biological and Environmental Interactions” at the 90th meeting of the American Society of Agronomy. Dr. Bailey regularly contributes statistical papers at annual professional meetings.
