Personal Biography of Robert J. Denver, Ph.D.
Dr. Denver is Associate Professor and Associate Chair of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor USA. He also holds an appointment in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. His research focuses on thyroid hormone action in brain development, the role of stress hormones in amphibian metamorphosis, and the impact of polychlorinated biphenyls on amphibian development. Dr. Denver received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley and a B.S. degree from Rutgers University. He also did postdoctoral work at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada and at the University of California at Berkeley.
