Personal Biography of Sherri L. Green, DVM, Ph.D.
Dr. Green is Associate Professor, Department of Comparative Medicine, Stanford University School of Medicine. Her research interests are the husbandry and infectious diseases of the South African clawed frog (Xenopus laevis and Xenopus tropicalis) and factors affecting Xenopus oogenesis, health, and fecundity. Dr. Green is a member of several professional organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, the American Association of Laboratory Animal Veterinarians and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians. Dr. Green has a DVM. from Louisiana State University and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of California at Davis. She completed an internship in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at the University of Missouri at Columbia and a Residency in Veterinary Internal Medicine from the University of Florida. She also is a Diplomate ACVIM in Veterinary Internal Medicine.
