The SmartWay Partner Schedule and Data Flow Diagram illustrates the inter-related nature of SmartWay data. Carriers must provide data that is used by multi-modal and logistics companies which is in turn utilized by shipper companies. The need to collect and report data on an annual cycle dictates the due dates for the various SmartWay tool data reporting. Carriers that do not report data on time are at risk of not having their data available for the companies that hire them.
