Reasons for Joining Climate Leaders Allergan has joined Climate Leaders for several reasons including 1) as a way to follow and verify good practice in climate change activities, 2) as a forum to discuss ideas and approaches to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, 3) as another way to demonstrate engagement with this issue, and 4) as a way to demonstrate that we are challenging ourselves with "stretch" goals. Allergan has participated in the EPA Green Lights, Climate Wise, and Energy Star Programs for many years so Climate Leaders was considered a natural extension of these Programs. Allergan has been very successful in all these voluntary programs and we expect to be successful in the Climate Leaders Program as well.
