Photos - Classroom Training
At EPA's hazardous materials training school, students receive classroom training on clothing and equipment used for personal protection. In this class, the instructor is demonstrating how to don and doff a level B protection suit and respirator. Level B personal protection includes a full-body suite with a full face-piece or air-respirator. Personal protective clothing and equipment (PPE) is vital to prevent risks to personnel from vapors, gases, and particulates from hazardous waste site activities.
