Photos - Drum Sampling
Sometimes a site will be discovered where the hazardous substances and associated threats are unknown. In these cases, EPA will use sampling, such as of the contents of this abandoned drum, to determine the health threats and the need for emergency response. EPA recognizes that some instances will require immediate or emergency actions to remove immediate threats to people or the environment, before a long-term action is initiated. |
