Edens Lost and Found. This series of four 2006 PBS broadcasts – together with the companion book, town hall meetings, and free action guides and curricula - focus on how ordinary citizens are restoring our great American cities.

Federal Cleanup Information: A Compendium. This collection of documents concerns the cleanup of federal facilities that may be contaminated by hazardous waste, unexploded ordnance, radioactive waste, fuels, or other toxic materials.

Federal Facilities Restoration and Cleanup Partners. EPA's Federal Facilities Restoration and Reuse Office (FFRRO) establishes partnerships with other government agencies and community groups.

Pollutants: Nonattainment Areas. This site lists areas where levels of air pollutants persistently exceed the national ambient air-quality standards.

Smart Growth Index. This model uses indicators of environmental performance to simulate alternative land-use and transportation scenarios and to evaluate their outcomes.

Smart Growth: National Awards. Through the National Award for Smart Growth Achievement, EPA seeks to recognize and support city and state governments and other public entities that promote and achieve smart growth.

Smart Growth Network. This partnership joins government, businesses, and civic organizations that support smart growth.

U.S. Green Building Council. This coalition of leaders from across the building industry work to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, economically efficient, and healthy places to live and work.
