Funds to Help Revitalize Properties

EPA's Brownfields Program provides funding to state, local and tribal governments through Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) grants. These grants are used to make loans and subgrants that fund cleanup activities at brownfields sites. On March 28, 2006, EPA annouced that the following grantees were selected to receive supplemental funding to replenish their RLF grants:

St. Louis County Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority ($500,000)

Cuyahoga County ($400,000)

Rhode Island
Rhode Island Economic Development Corp. ($390,000)

Washington
Washington Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development ($500,000)
