OSWER Enhances Tribal Web Areas

Tribal

October 10 - The Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) is pleased to announce two new enhancements to our online information about EPA programs in Indian Country: the Office of Underground Storage Tanks (OUST) in Indian Country site has a new look and new information, and the brand new OSWER Tribal Programs pages collect information about all of OSWER's tribal programs in one easy-to-use area. These sites make OSWER's online information about tribal programs both more complete and easier to access.

The improved OUST tribal area provides information about funding, guidance, and publications, as well as training resources, information for inspectors, and links to other tribal sites. The site contains the latest information on the Energy Policy Act of 2005's requirements for underground storage tanks. The information found in this area is specific to programs on tribal lands and should prove to be a valuable resource for anyone involved in managing tanks in Indian Country.

The OSWER Tribal Web Area collects all of OSWER's Tribal Web content in a single portal. This area includes information about initiatives, grants, funding, laws, regulations, and publications, as well as a list of OSWER tribal contacts, a calendar of upcoming events, and links to other EPA tribal pages. This portal provides one-stop shopping for anyone seeking information about OSWER's tribal programs.
