Region of the Month (2004)

In celebration of the 20 year history of the underground storage tank program, each month in 2004 a different EPA region was spotlighted on this "Region of the Month" web page. Since the underground storage tank program is delegated to the states, each of the EPA regional offices has worked closely with the states in their region to implement unique approaches to regulating underground storage tanks and cleaning up leaks to the environment. By highlighting a region each month, we showcased accomplishments and special projects from each of the EPA regional offices that deserved national attention and recognition.
