Illinois Delivery Prohibition Program
- Type Of Program:
Green Tag and Red Tag
- How To Identify An Ineligible Underground Storage Tank:
The Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal inspects tanks for compliance and issues either a red, green, or yellow tag. Red tags indicate ineligible tanks, green tags indicate eligible tanks, and yellow tags indicate exempt tanks. The absence of a green tag and/or the application of a red tag identifies an ineligible underground storage tank.
