Resource To Help A State Report On USTs In Its Jurisdiction
As directed by Section 1528 of the Energy Policy Act, federal agencies in August 2006 reported to EPA (and Congress) regarding the compliance status of underground storage tanks owned or operated by federal agencies. States may find those federal reports provide useful information as states develop their reports regarding the compliance status of underground storage tanks owned or operated by federal, state, or local governments in their jurisdiction. For more information regarding the federal facilities compliance report requirement and to access the federal agencies' reports, see EPA's Federal Facilities Report Web page http://www.epa.gov/oust/fedlaws/fedfacrpt.htm.
