Delaware was granted state program approval (SPA) in 1996. All states in Region 3 have approved programs.

Number of cleanups completed	2,293 (national total: 388,331)
Number of cleanups in backlog to be completed	236 (national total: 100,165)

Percent of facilities in significant operational compliance with:

	Release prevention requirements	82%
	Release detection requirements	87%
	Both prevention and release detection requirements	77%
