Members of the EPA National Tribal Operations Committee

In order to improve communication and build stronger partnerships with the tribes, EPA established a National Tribal Operations Committee (NTOC) in February 1994. NTOC is comprised of 19 Tribal leaders (Tribal Caucus) and EPA's Senior Leadership Team, including the Administrator, the Deputy Administrator and the Agency's Assistant Administrators and Regional Administrators.

NTOC meets on a regular basis to discuss implementation of the environmental protection programs for which EPA and the tribes share responsibility as co-regulators. All tribes are encouraged to communicate with the members of NTOC.
