New Analytical Tool Available Called TRI.Net to Analyze TRI data
TRI.Net is a new application developed by EPA to help users
analyze Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) information. It is especially useful for analysts who need
an interactive environment to refine their queries and analyses in an efficient and productive way.
TRI.Net makes use of mashups using the latest mapping technologies of Virtual Earth™ , Google Earth™ ,
and Google Maps™ to help users visualize where TRI releases are occurring.

TRI-MEweb and TRI-MEdesktop RY2008 Now Available for Filing TRI Reports.
The RY2008 TRI-MEweb module and the
RY 2008 TRI-MEdesktop software are now
available for creating and submitting TRI reports. This is the final year that the TRI program intends
to produce the TRI-MEdesktop software so users are encouraged to try the TRI-MEweb
application even if they do not file their reports with it. Still
have questions whether to use TRI-MEweb or TRI-MEdesktop?
Note: TRI-MEdesktop software cannot be used to file dioxin reports. They must be filed via TRI-MEweb
or on paper forms.
TRI Training is now available for 2009
TRI Training Workshops in-person
and on the Web for 2009 are starting to accept registration applications for courses on TRI reporting
requirements.
TRI Reporting Aids and Assistance Materials
By law, if your facility is in a covered industry, you must file your Toxics Release Inventory (TRI)
reports by July 1 of each year. This TRI compliance assistance
