Welcome to the TRI-MEweb tutorial for revising a form. This tutorial will illustrate how to revise a form within the TRI-MEweb application. The total running time of this tutorial is approximately 7 minutes.

Slide 2
Facilities that have prepared and transmitted a Form R and/or a Form A Certification Statement and have certified the submission in which the form was contained under EPCRA Section 313 may prepare and transmit a revision to this form. There are currently two methods to prepare a revision to a form in TRI-MEweb: One, which is utilizing the Forms Summary table on the Welcome page, and two, which is utilizing the Select a Form page. To note, a form may only be revised after the submission in which it was originally contained is certified. Additionally, TRI-MEweb currently only supports preparing and transmitting revisions to RY2005 and later forms.

Slide 3
A preparer may revise one or more Form R's and/or Form A Certification Statements for a facility. One likely reason for needing to revise a form would be that the preparer recalculated a chemical release and determined that a correction is needed to one or more values reported on the original form. Another possible reason for needing to revise a form would be that EPA notified a facility that a transmitted and certified form contained an error, such as an incorrect RCRA ID for an Off-site Transfer Location in Section 6.2, and requested that the facility correct the error. There are two methods of revising a form. Let's review the first method, which utilizes the Forms Summary table on the Welcome page.
