SUBJECT:       Announcement of Telephone Conference

     A telephone conference to discuss issues related to development of the metal coil coating
MACT standard is scheduled for Monday, June 7, 1999, starting at 2:00 pm EDT.  The telephone
conference is anticipated to last 2 hours, although the telephone line has been reserved for 3 hours. 
The call-in number is (404) 681-1211; when prompted for a pass code, dial 2344 then #.  Please wait
until 2:00 pm to dial in. The purposes of the telephone conference are the following:

     Review  NCCA documentation presenting an initial analysis of ICR data and MACT floor
     proposal

     Discuss the use of compliance options from the printing and publishing MACT in the metal coil
     surface coating MACT 

     Discuss potential requirements for ancillary HAP emission sources (i.e., storage tanks, wet
     section operations, mixing, thinning, intermix, and blending; parts and equipment cleaning;
     quenching; and wastewater operations) in the MACT standard

     Discuss the exclusion of area sources from the MACT floor analysis

     Review draft EPA model plants (metal coil surface coating lines) that will be used to estimate
     impacts of regulatory options
