Emissions Inventory Data for 2000

| The data sets in this directory are for calendar year 2000 and were
prepared and submitted by State or local air agencies using the National
Emission Inventory (NEI) Input Format (NIF). We (EPA's Emission Inventory and Analysis Group, of the Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards)
are continuing to focus on preparing a comprehensive NEI every 3 years
- calendar year 1999, 2002, etc. - and currently have no plans to
incorporate these year 2000 data sets into a national inventory. We are making these data sets available on our web site (ftp://ftp.epa.gov/EmisInventory/st_2000/) for persons who have a need for year 2000 data and are able to use the data in the NIF format. Be aware that EPA has not performed quality checks on these data and have not reviewed the data. Thus, we do not endorse the data and make no claims about the level of accuracy. NOTE: If you have questions about these data, you should contact the State/Local person listed in the transmittal record (TR) for the given data set. |
