These 1999 Mexico NEI data files and reports were provided by Paula Fields of ERG on 10/30/2006 with the following information included in an e-mail: "The border states emissions for point and nonroad mobile sources have been revised since the previous NIF and IDA files were developed for the border states (Dec 2005). We modified the NIF and IDA files for these source types and have included those along with the original area and onroad motor vehicle files in the zipped files on our ftp site. " "The Mexico NEI report provides emissions in Mg/year, while the NIF and IDA files and summary spreadsheet contain emissions in tons/year. Some rounding error is inherent, so the numbers may not match exactly between the modeling files and the report, even after conversion, but they will be close (within a few percent on a source-type or state basis)."
