The dBase file SAMIAPPA.DBF contains Tier 2 summary information from the 1990 Interim/Trends.  The data in this file contains information presented in Appendix A of the Final version of the SAMI emission inventory report (EMISSFNL.WPW).  The dBase file is not formatted as it appears in the report.  As a consequence, it does not contain State or Tier level subtotals.  The Total information in the file (in the same column as the State name or State FIPS code) refers to the Total emissions by Tier 1 and 2 categories across the entire SAMI region.

The file now contains biogenic NOx and VOC emissions that are not presented in either the draft or final versions of the report.

Pollutants are subdivided by point and area and mobile sources.  PVOC would be point source VOC emissions.  AVOC would be area and/or mobile source VOC emissions.  All values are in short tons.
