Welcome... This Web site presents data and summaries for use with the designations of 8-hour ozone nonattainment areas.  It includes data from the 1996 National Emission Trends Inventory and Emission Tracking System/Continuous Emissions Monitoring data, Census related data, air quality data and maps.  Please consider this Web site a draft, since the data that form the basis of these summaries are continuously being updated and corrected.  As data are updated, this Web site will be updated.  Be sure to read the document "Corrections, Caveats, Explanations, Known Problems and FAQ" before proceeding.

Data presented herein includes National Emission Trends Inventory (NET 1996 version 400) state, metropolitan statistical areas, county, and source category emission summaries, as well as detailed plant data.  Also presented are the Clean Air Markets Divisions's ETS/CEM data and various charts and graphs.

Data presented herein includes 8-hour ozone design values and annual exceedances.  Also presented are wind rose data and and information on spatial clustering of ambient ozone in the Eastern United States.  Certain modeling information in the Eastern US is under development.
