| Abstract: On May 20, 1999, Administrator Browner testified before the Clean Air Subcommitte of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on EPA's proposed Tier 2 standards for cars and light-duy trucks and the accompanying proposed low sulfur requirements for gasoline. Administrator Browner's prepared oral statement also responds to a recent Federal Appeals Court decision on revisions to the national ambient air quality standards for ozone and particulate matter. |
