Abstract: Under the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990, EPA is required to issue regulations to require owners and operators of large industrial facilities to enhance air pollution monitoring and certify compliance with air pollution regulations. This CAM approach replaced the Enhanced Monitoring rule that EPA proposed in September 1993. This document has been superseded by the final rule published in October 1997.
