| Abstract: On June 15, 1999, EPA proposed to amend the April 30, 1999 rule on section 126 petitions. EPA is proposing to remove the link between the NOx SIP call deadlines and the final action granting the section 126 petitions from the eight northeastern states. EPA also is proposing to indefinitely stay the determinations of technical merit based on the 8-hour ozone standard, pending further developments in the litigation of the national ambient air quality standards for ozone. |
