| Abstract: his supplementary volume to the Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) for the Final Section 126 Petition Rule provides the monetized and unmonetized benefits associated with reductions in ozone concentrations from NOx emission reductions due to implementation of the rule. This analysis complements the presentation of PM-related benefits in the RIA for this rule published in December, 1999. The EPA's primary estimate of ozone-related monetized benefits for this rule is $170 million (1997 dollars). This document is Chapter 1 of the supplementary volume. |
