Abstract: EPA issues technical amendments to the final rule on regional transport of ground-level ozone, the main component of smog. This action amends EPA's final notice issued September 24, 1998 (63FR57356) commonly known as the "NOx SIP call." In this notice, EPA revises the NOx emission limits or budgets for 22 States and the District of Columbia. This document includes the preamble and regulatory text for the new NOx budgets.
