CHANGE TO PUBLIC HEARING DATE 
               AND CLOSE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
                    ON INTERIM FINAL ACTIONS

     The public hearing date has been changed to from June 14,
1995, to June 21, 1995, for the interim final FIP rules relating to
airport ground access equipment and auxiliary power units (40 CFR
52.2970) and the FIP cap rules for emissions of oxides of nitrogen
from industrial and commercial sources in the South Coast (40 CFR
52.2965).  The public hearing will be held in the auditorium of the
South Coast Air Quality Management District, 21865 E. Copley Drive,
Diamond Bar, California, beginning at 10 a.m.   Further details on
the public hearing are provided in section I.C. of the FIP Federal
Register.

     The close of the public comment period on the interim final
FIP rules referenced above and the interim final SIP approval of
the new-technology measures adopted by the California Air Resources
Board and the South Coast Air Quality Management District has been
changed from July 14, 1995, to July 21, 1995.
