Abstract: THe Presumptive MACT for Rubber Tire MAnufacturing identifies a short information base of industry activities in the manufacturing of ALL rubber tires and their components. The document identifies relative emissions base largely on available data from passenger and light truck tire manufacturing and evaluation of other tires, e.g., off road. The document presents preliminary information on the major sources affected by a future MACT as well as the initial identification of the MACT Floor and needed information to evaluate MACT options for a proposaed rule. The Presumptive MACT does not constitute a legal requirement, but a fact finding document and needs assessment.
