Abstract:
As part a settlement agreement, EPA on February 23, 2001 proposed amendments to the General Provisions that would revise and clarify several of the current provisions. In addition, EPA proposed amendments to rules that establish equivalent emission limitations by permit under section 112(j) of the Act. This draft document accompanies the proposed section 112(j) regulation amendments (40 CFR part 63, subpart B) and provides guidance for complying with the regulations implementing section 112(j) by identifying and evaluating control technology options to determine the MACT emission limitation.
