Abstract: The EPA is promulgating air toxics standards for lime manufacturing plants that are located at major sources. Lime Manufacturing plants that believe they are area sources will also have to perform a one-time emissions test to prove area source status. Lime manufacturing plants at pulp and paper mills and beet sugar factories are not affected by this rule. This file is the fact sheet for the final rule.
