Abstract: EPA is issuing final toxic air pollutant rules for leather finishing operations. EPA has identified these facilities as major sources of hazardous air emissions such as glycol ethers, toluene, and xylene. These rules will require all leather finishing operations that are major sources to meet emission standards that reflect the maximum achievable control technologies.
