Abstract: The EPA is issuing a final rule to reduce emissions of air toxics from the clay ceramics manufacturing industry. The final rule will limit emissions of hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen chloride, and metal air toxics that occur during the manufacture of pressed floor tile; pressed wall tile; other pressed tile; and sanitaryware (e.g., sinks and toilets). The final rule will control these emissions from all new tunnel kilns. This file is the text of the final rule.
