Abstract:
On January 10, 2000, EPA issued final amendments to the testing and monitoring methods and specifications for use in demonstrating compliance with Clean Air Act requirements for new source performance standards and national standards for hazardous air pollutants.
The amendments reformat the requirements for emission test methods and performance specifications for continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) into a new outline that has been adopted for all Agency testing and monitoring methods. The notice also makes minor technical and editorial corrections. In addition, the amendments add performance specifications for evaluating new emission monitors that use Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). This file is the text of the rule.
