Abstract: The EPA is proposing NSPS and emission guidelines for new and existing other solid waste incinerators (OSWI) units. The proposed rules fulfill the requirements of sections 111 and 129 of the CAA, which require EPA to promulgate NSPS and emission guidelines for solid waste incineration units. The proposed rules, which address only nonhazardous solid wastes, would protect public health by reducing exposure to air pollution. This file is the text of the proposed rule.
