| Abstract: This file is a DRAFT memo, "Documentation of Emission Factor Development for the Plywood and Composite Wood Products Manufacturing NESHAP." Attachment 2, the detailed spreadsheets, is not included on the web page because of its size. The entire the memo, including Attachment 2, is in docket A-98-44. EPA plans to reformat the emission factors and incorporate them into "Compilation of Air Pollutant Emission Factors" (AP-42) sections for oriented strandboard (OSB), particleboard, medium density fiberboard (MDF), plywood, hardboard/fiberboard, and engineered wood products. When incorporated into AP-42, emission factors for non-HAP compounds will also be added. When the draft AP-42 sections are completed, the emission factors will be removed from this web page and replaced by a notice that the draft AP-42 sections are available for review. The draft AP-42 sections will be available for review and comment on the EPA emission factor website. The sections are expected to be available for review in September 2000.
