| Abstract: The EPA is taking direct final action to amend the following air toxics standards: Polyether Polyols Production; Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry (also known as the Hazardous Organic NESHAP, or HON); Epoxy Resin Production and Non-Nylon Polyamides Production; and Petroleum Refineries. Air toxics standards also are called national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP). For all four of these standards, this direct final rule amends the definition of equipment leaks. This rule makes a number of additional changes, including correcting referencing errors and equations that contained printing errors in the final rule for Polyether Polyols Production; amending the descriptions of a process change and of excess emissions; amending requirements for requesting a compliance date extension and for storage vessel monitoring. It also amends several definitions, and makes other changes. This file is the text of the preamble and direct final rule. |
