Abstract: This memorandum clarifies the definition of organic solvents to reflect the Agency's intent to only regulate hazardous air pollutant (HAP) organic solvents in the final rule. The change in the definition of organic solvent will be included in a Federal Register notice proposing amendments to the final rule scheduled to be published in April 1998.
