Abstract: This Interim Final Rule, effective immediately, suspends certain language in 40 CFR part 70 and 71 for 60 days, while EPA conducts a parallel notice and comment rulemaking to make the same changes permanent. These changes clarify EPA's authority to require sources to conduct monitoring.
