| Abstract: This memo provides Title V program approval criteria for Section 112 activities. State Part 70 submittals must, for the submittal to obtain full approval from EPA, contain authority or commitments to assure the compliance of part 70 permits issued by the PA with all applicable Section 112 requirements. Specifically, the Attorney General's statement should certify that the State has authority to issue part 70 permits that assure compliance with all currently applicable requirements and that the Agency will expeditiously adopt any new authority needed to implement future requirements, including Section 112. The attachment summarizes guidance for evaluating Title V submittals for Section 112, including 112(d), (f), and (h); the general provisions; and 112(g),(i)(5),(j), (l), and (r). |
