Abstract: This policy memorandum extends the EPA's January 25, 1995 transition policy for temporarily establishing potential to emit limits to avoid major source status under Section 112 and Title V of the Clean Air Act. This extension will continue until December 31, 2000 for all State and local air permitting agencies. An additional extension may be granted until June 30, 2001, as determined on a case-by-case basis.
