This area is used for making announcements concerning additions and changes to the Support Center For Regulatory Atmospheric Modeling Homepage. All models/programs, user's guides, guidelines and support document additions or changes are announced here at the time those actions are taken. Visiting this area each time one enters the homepage will provide the user with the latest updates to all of the topical areas of this site.


**ALERT** 12/22/05 -  An updated version of the AERMAP program is now available.  Changes have been made to the source code file, the executable file, the test case file, the SDTS to DEM format conversion program and the readme file.  A description of these updates can be found in the readme file and in the comments at  the beginning of the source code statements.


**ALERT** 11/08/05 -  The AERMOD Modeling System promulgation package will be published in the Federal Register on or about 11/9/2005.


**ALERT** 11/08/05 -  The final version of the "Guidance on the Use of Models and Other Analyses in Attainment Demonstrations for the 8-hour Ozone NAAQS"  is now available.


**ALERT** 9/22/05 -  The EPA's 8th Modeling Conference was held on 9/22-23/2005 in RTP, North Carolina.


**ALERT** 06/30/05 -  An upgraded version of the receptor model CMB8 is now available.  The upgraded model, EPA-CMB8.2 incorporates the upgrade features that CMB8 has over CMB7, but also corrects errors/problems identified with CMB8, updates the linear algebra library, adds enhancements for a more robust and user-friendly system and employs code that has been reorganized, refactored, and is well documented.
