Abstract: EPA is taking direct final action (with a parallel proposal) to amend the national ambient air quality standards for particulate matter. This rule reduces to 15% the requirement that reporting organizations collocate 25% of State and local air monitoring station (SLAMS) sites with a second sampler in order to estimate precision at a reporting organization level.
