Detailed Morphological Relations: Dimensionless Ratios

In this step the user is to obtain morphological relations of dimension, pattern and profile. These quantitative morphological relations assist in determining departure from a stable reference condition of the same stream type in the same valley type. Valley types are described in the Fundamentals of the Rosgen Stream Classification System Watershed Academy online module. Reference and potentially impaired river reach data sets are both entered using Worksheet 13 (PDF, 45 kb, 1 p.).
