Comparison of potential accelerated or increased sediment supply above a reference or baseline condition. The increased sediment supply (Step 28) is compared to reference rates. This step identifies disproportionate contributions of sediment beyond reference condition from model output. The relative contributions of sediment and/or cause of channel instability identify processes and places where site-specific mitigation will be needed.
