Free Training on the Academic Labs Rule for Hazardous Waste (Subpart K)
On May 18, 2010 EPA held a free training on the Academic Labs Rule for hazardous waste (Subpart K) at the EPA Potomac Yard Conference Center and provided a live webcast of the training over the internet
About the Training
EPA published the final Academic Laboratories Rule on December 1, 2008. As states adopt the rule and eligible academic entities in those states opt into the rule, very few institutions know the “ins and outs” of the requirements of the regulation. EPA experts and individuals experienced in the development and implementation of Subpart K hosted this training to provide you with information and to answer your questions.
