Environmental Defense Fund Exit EPA
Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) is a leading national nonprofit organization representing more than 300,000 members. EDF's Partnership for Climate Action works with corporations to develop effective strategies to cut industrial pollutants such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, and other greenhouse gas emissions.

U.S. Conference of Mayors Exit EPA
The U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) serves as the official nonpartisan organization of cities with populations of 30,000 or more. USCM adopted a climate change resolution that calls for an immediate reduction in greenhouse gases and sets other general climate-related goals.

World Resources Institute Exit EPA
World Resources Institute (WRI), an environmental think tank, goes beyond research to find practical ways to protect the Earth and improve people's lives. One of WRI's goals is to safeguard Earth's climate from further harm due to greenhouse gas emissions.

International City/County Management Association Exit EPA
A professional and educational organization, International City/County Management Association (ICMA) represents appointed managers and administrators in local governments throughout the world. ICMA addresses climate change through its Local Government Environmental Assistance Network (LGEAN). LGEAN is a free, full-service "first-stop shop" that provides environmental management, planning, funding, and regulatory information.

ICLEI—Local Governments for Sustainability Exit EPA
ICLEI is the international environmental agency for local governments. ICLEI's global climate protection campaign, Cities for Climate Protection, helps cities and counties take practical steps that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and benefit their communities. In addition to partnering with WasteWise, ICLEI also works extensively with EPA's Pay As You Throw program to help local governments minimize their climate impact through waste reduction.

Pew Center on Global Climate Change Exit EPA
is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, and independent organization dedicated to providing credible information, straight answers, and innovative solutions in the effort to address global climate change. Thirty-seven major companies are working together through the Center to educate the public on the risks, challenges and solutions to climate change.

A nonprofit and nonpartisan think tank located in Washington, D.C., Resources for the Future conducts independent research—rooted primarily in economics and other social sciences—on environmental and natural resource issues.

ClimateBiz Exit EPA
is a one-stop online resource to help companies of all sizes and sectors understand and address climate change. The emphasis is on providing hands-on tools, action steps, and other resources companies can use to understand the underlying issues, assess their climate footprint, and devise and implement a plan to significantly reduce their climate impacts throughout their supply chains.
