Cooperation on Water Management Continues Between the US and Japan
Honoring a bilateral science and technology agreement signed in 1987 between the United States and Japan, representatives of the two countries recently participated in a Conference on Water Quality Management and Wastewater Control. Papers on state of the art technology and emerging issues were shared among the delegates with particular interest evolving around a Japanese investigation into the occurrence of endocrine disrupters in wastewater and drinking water.
